Rice cake Soup (tteok-guk) 


Rice cake soup is Korea's traditional food.
Korea has a New years tradition of eating a rice cake soup because it is said to bring good luck or new luck  in the New years.




     It's really easy to make rice cake soup. First, collect all the ingredients- rice cake, tender beef, green onion, chopped garlic, egg, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt. Second, boil water and add beef and green onion to the pot for one hour. After that, take out beef in the pot, and put in rice cake, chopped garlic to the pot. Next, cut beef and add to the soup. Finally season with salt, egg, sesame oil, soy sauce.
Enjoy the rice cake sop and get a good luck and new luck.
